The World Within eBook MC Olmo Reviews
Ms. Olmo debut novel is a breath of fresh air in which, through beautifully written descriptions, you can feel the love for her home country and the importance of friends and family. I felt like I was in a modern Wizard of Oz!!! If you want to be transported to a magical world, this is the book for you. Can't hardly wait for the next chapter in what promises to be a wonderful series. The World Within (Volume 1)
The writer is an excellent narrator. Describes the surroundings of her story in great detail. Loved this book!!!! If you like it you should read her second book!!! That one is a page turner!!!
This is a wonderful book for both children and adults. Full of adventure and suspense, this story keeps you on your toes. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. The authenticity of the island flora mixed with the fantastic creatures transport you to a fantasy world of a world within a world as the title suggests. I Read it from start to finish in a couple of hours. Its short chapters make it easy to read. I would suggest it for children ages 8 and up. Adults will be brought back to their childhood and their mischievous ways.
Good reading. This novel is full of vivid characters, among other enjoyable qualities. Lots of fun, too. I found myself laughing on the main characters dialogues between themselves, and the magical place that surrounds them. A two-way ticket to the wonderful world of Maboodia ...you don't want to miss this ride.
This book was an unexpected surprise, a quick and easy read that readily transports you to both an imaginary world as well as that of past youthful adventures. It not only tells a refreshing tale of fantasy and wonder, but also transports the reader to what is was like to be a wide-eyed preteen. Action, aventure, thrills, and chills... they're all there, interwoven with interesting subtexts of culture, friendship, and family. Truly enjoyable and appropriate for readers of all ages.
